KIDS IN THE KITCHEN COOKBOOK - About a year ago, New Hamburg author Nancy Silcox proposed compiling a cookbook of recipes written by kids and asked if any of DreamShare’s kids could contribute. We happen to have Juma, a teenage boy we support in Uganda who makes everything by hand then cooks over a charcoal brazier.

Juma ended up being just one of several kids who contributed to the book entitled Kids in the Kitchen, now in its sixth printing and it was only released in Sept. 2017.

Nancy has generously offered to donate part of the proceeds from books sales to DreamShare Uganda.

Copies of the book are available at Words Worth Books in Uptown Waterloo.
